When it comes to airport fire rescue, having a reliable tank for an airport fire truck is essential. These airport rescue ARFF trucks require large capacities of water and foam. Therefore, the major ARFF fire truck manufacturers’ vehicles have UPF tanks installed. As a result, UPF ARFF tanks are on crash tenders located at airports and military bases worldwide.
UPF’s ARFF fire truck tanks are either a wetside tank or internal water/fire fighting foam tank. These tanks are standard on ARFF trucks. UPF ARFF tanks are generally available in 1500, 3000, and 4500-gallon sizes. As well as have an internal or external fire fighting foam tank ranging from 100 to 500 gallons.
All UPF airport fire truck tanks require precise attention to fitting locations and exact tolerances. In addition, UPF’s poly material knowledge assures every ARFF truck tank is the best-built water and fire fighting foam tank available. Most importantly, UPF’s strong design, manufacturing, and testing teams meet unique design criteria and performance specifications.
These large trucks need to be able to act swiftly to get to an emergency and, in some cases, be able to maneuver in an about rough terrain outside the airport area. Airport fire truck tanks have proven to be durable water and fire fighting foam tank that can handle the rigors of the demands of ARFF vehicles and emergencies. UPF is a member of the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Working Group and attends and exhibits the conferences throughout the year.
In conclusion, UPF airport fire truck tanks do not have standard features. The pricing is based on the complexity of the design of the manufacturer.
