UPF’s Defender™ S-Series Steals the Show!

North Andover, Massachusetts: United Plastic Fabricating, Inc. (UPF) introduced the innovative Defender™ S-Series at the FDIC 2006 show to an overwhelming response.

The Defender™ S-Series™ from UPF is a combination of a 200 gallon skid tank with two oversized six and a half foot long compartments that install simply into a pick-up truck bed.

“We are very pleased with the interest in the unit. The booth traffic was amazing, We sold a unit (at the show) and the requests for quotes and literature has been coming in daily. We are very pleased with the response,” said Bill Bruns, VP Sales and Marketing.

The Defender™ S-Series™ has storage compartments mounted on both sides of the skid unit, featuring gull-wing style doors for full access. Each compartment has over 20 cubic feet of storage capacity and can be equipped with optional shelving trays. The 200 gallon tank is equipped with dual fill towers allowing safe filling from ground level on either side of the vehicle. The S-Series™ is designed to slide into any manufacturer’s standard 8 foot bed with a payload of 4300 pounds.

“Our R & D Department along with our New Products Committee put a lot of time and effort to create this unit. It was a group effort and this product exemplifies what UPF is all about.
